Blue Arrow Bristol are recruiting Assembly Staff and Wood Workers/Carpenters to work for our client based in Clevedon BS21. The roles are temp to perm - after being employed by Blue Arrow for the first 12 weeks, you will be offered a permanent contract directly with the client. This is an excellent opportunity that offers plenty of training and career progression.
As an Assembler, your duties will include:
- Assembling wooden pieces
- Folding cardboard

Using hand and power tools- Gluing and stitching wooden parts
- Packing items and preparing them for shipping
- Other duties as and when required
- Using machinery (training provided)
Candidates will be required to work on rotating shifts - earlies one week (6am till 2pm Monday to Thursday and 6am till 12.30pm on Friday) and lates the next week (2pm till 10pm Monday to Thursday and 12.30pm till 9pm on Friday).
Basic salary for the role is £12.54 per hour, overtime Monday-Friday is paid at £15.67, ocvertime on the weekends is paid at £20.90 per hour.
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing role is preferred
- Previous experience working with wood or operating machinery is preferred
- Good understanding of warehousing and manufacturing processes and regulations
- Positive can-do attitude
- Good record of timekeeping and attendance
- Ability to follow instructions and work as a part of team
- Good numeracy skills
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to work on rotating shifts
